Throughout the summer licensed premises that have taken part in the BEST BAR NONE scheme have been assessed and accredited in addition to being nominated for a number of award categories at their awards night, which was held at Pier Point on Tuesday 29th November.
Now in its 16th year, The Supper Club has gone from strength to strength and has fantastic industry support, particularly from Ambassador, Michelin starred chef Angela Hartnett.
The stars of Radio 1’s afternoon show will be in Enigma after their appearance at The Big Weekend which takes place at Powderham Castle.
The X-Factor production team are in Rock Garden Bar Café tonight for live auditions. Spaces are available for anyone who wants to come down on a first come first served basis from 7pm-11pm.

Organisers of this year’s Occombe Beer Festival have revealed the line-up for the two day festival and this year is set to be one of the most exciting yet with Glastonbury favourites Wille and the Bandits and indie band Silent Alarm in the headline slots. Taking place on Friday 3rd and Saturday 4th June, the event will be jam-packed with foot-stomping music, superb beer and great food.
Committee members Emma Gibson (Green Ginger), Trevor Staveley (Street Pastors), Rob Elford (SHOT BY ROB), James Hopkins (London Inn) and Carol Stapleton (Shadow Security) joined representatives from across the country for the national awards ceremony.
Supported by the Home Office, Best Bar None promotes responsible management and operation of alcohol licensed premises. The scheme aims to improve standards in the night time economy by ensuring licensed premises meet minimum standards.
Wearing nothing but their shorts and a smile, stars from the calendar will be meeting and greeting customers as well as selling copies of the calendar.
Everyone involved has volunteered their time and talents with every penny raised going to Help for Heroes, thanks to the headline sponsor Patronus Security and local businesses who have sponsored a month.
